Farewell to the departed soul of Sr. M. Kiran Tete SRA

With deep sadness weighing on our hearts, we say goodbye to our beloved Sr. M. Kiran Tete.

Farewell to the departed soul of Sr. M. Kiran Tete SRA

Sr. Kiran was born into a Catholic family to Mr. Samuel Tete and Mrs. Susana Soreng in the village of Khutmunda, Sundergarh district of Orissa.

Sr. Kiran Tete embodied love, sociability, and approachability. Beyond her role as a devoted teacher, she showcased remarkable creativity and skill as an accomplished artist. Her dedication to her students was matched only by her prayerfulness and hard work. After her initial profession, she embarked on her teaching career, making a meaningful impact in different communities.

Sr. Kiran had history of Hypothyroidism and Hypertension and was on medication. A week before her death, she experienced an electrolyte imbalance and was taken to Constant Lievens Hospital, Mandar for doctor’s consultation.  She was treated according to doctor’s advice in Preriton Ki Rani Hospital, Chanho. In spite of all the efforts done, her health gradually deteriorated and she stopped responding. She went into coma for two days prior to her death. On 4 February 2024, she was called by the Lord to the heavenly home and her funeral rites were held on 5 February 2024 at Preriton Ki Rani Sadan,Chanho.

Her absence is deeply felt, for she was a devoted missionary, fervently spreading the message of Christ's love. May her soul find solace in the embrace of the Lord, and may she rest in eternal peace.
