On the wings of angels, rest in peace.

Sr.M. Celine Marie was born on 23/05/1947 at Birri in the district of Gumla in Jharkhand. She joined the congregation as a trained teacher and was an excellent teacher. She committed herself downright to the development of her students beyond her capacity and never left a stone unturned to proclaim the Word of God to catechize the people.

Sr. Celine Marie fell sick and was being treated in Ambikapur, Holy Cross, Hospital, for Chrome Bronchitis, Cardiac problems, and hypertension with diabetics. On 21st January 2024, she breathed her last at 12.50 pm. Her funeral rites were held on 22nd Jan 2024 at Bargawan Parish. The Requiem Mass was celebrated by VG. William of Ambikhapur diocese, accompanied by six priests from nearby dioceses. Many of the sisters from different community, along with the Provincial and the family members took part in the funeral ceremony.

We miss in her person  an ardent missionary who passionately proclaimed the love of Christ. We entrust her soul to the Lord, and pray that she may rest in Peace!
