Annual Juniourate Course 2023

Centenary Celebration of Bombay Province was held on 21st April, 2023 at John XXIII High School, Agashi.

The Lay Associates of Bombay Province assembled at Stella Maris Provincialate, Uttan and Preshitanchi Rani Sadan, Amravati. Sr. Loretto, Sr. Blessina, Sr. Christel were the speakers. Fr. George and Fr. James were the resource persons in Uttan and Sr. Rebecca was the resource person in Amravati.

The relatives of the deceased sisters were invited to participate in our congregations centenary celebration and to thank them for their selfless contribution to the congregation.

50Glorious years of religious profession of  Srs. Edwina, Delphina, Regina, Erica, and Remy

Mahim, Vakola and Agashi communities organised a programme in honour of the centenary of our congregation. In pursuit of guiding the third gender become more integrated into society.

A seminar was arranged in order to be prepare for our congregation's centenary.
Fr. Donald SVD was the resource person.

We extended our help to the needy and vulnerable especially the health workers, daily wage earners, migrants, fishing community, farmers, differently abled people and children, widows, Aanganwadi slum children, etc.

Presentation of Reports

Seminar for the sisters involved in the developmental work of the Province was held at Stella Maris Provincialate Uttan.

The Annual Retreat was organized in two batches by the province at Stella Maris Provincialate, Uttan from 17-22 and 26 - 30 September.  Fr.  Leo Anand SJ and Fr. P.T.Joseph SJ were the resource persons.

Seminar for the sisters for the animation of the General Chapter was held at Stella Maris Provincialate in two batches. The theme of the Chapter SRA: Missionary Disciples of Compassion and Joy at the Service of the Gospel was presented efficiently by different resource persons.

Sisters engaged in Education apostolate came together for a seminar on 20th August 2017 at Stella Maris Provincialate, Uttan

On 27th August 2017, 10 ANM students of Mother Hemma Nursing School received their certificates at Stella Maris Hospital, Uttan.

On 17th August 2017  the Junior sisters of the province gathered together for the follow up Programme of Juniorate Course held in May 2017.

Seminar for the sisters involved in medical apostolate was held at Stella Maris Provincialate, Uttan on 20th August 2017.

Seminar on Midlife Transition and recommitment to consecrated life was held at Satyanjali, Igatpuri on 16-18 May 2017. 21 sisters in the age group of 49-59 years participated in the seminar conducted by Fr. Vijay Gonsalves SJ.

A get together and outing was organized for the senior sisters age group of 70-92 at Satyanjali,Igatpuri on 22nd  and 23rd March 2017.

A vocation camp was organized by the province on 22nd and 23rd April 2017 at Satyanjali, Igatpuri. 30 young girls participated in this program.

A seminar was organized for the sisters in the age group of 30-49 years on 9th and 10th May 2017 at Stella Maris Provincialate, Uttan.

15 young sisters gathered together on 12th March 2017 at Stella Maris Provincialate, Uttan to revitalize their commitment to the Lord. 

The Foundation Stone for the extention of the Stella Maris Hospital was laid on 16th April 2017

On 4th December 2016 with joy and enthusiasm our junior sisters renewed their YES to the Lord.

Renewed, Refreshed and Revitalize in the Lord to continue His mission. 

On 8th December 2016  we celebrated final commitment of Sr. Sarika B., Sr. Sheetal L., and Sr. Velencia M. and Silver Jubilee of Sr. Roshi T. and Shalomy B.

A follow-up of the Juniorate course was organized on 28th August 2016 at Stella Maris Provincialate, Uttan. 15 Juniors were present. This coming together helped them to reflect on consecrated life. They were enthused and enhanced from this gathering.

The socio-pastoral seminar for sisters was organized on 20th August 2016 at Stella Maris Provincialate, Uttan

The welcome and certification ceremony of the ANM students was held on 21st August 2016 at Stella Maris Hospital.

The Animators and Sisters in Medical and Education ministry had Seminars on different topics that enlightened and renewed them in their ministries. 

Meeting of the sisters involved in Social Apostolate was organized on 6th and 7th June 2015 at Stella Maris Provincialate, Uttan

The Annual Juniorate Course for the Junior sisters of Bombay Province was organized at Stella Maris Provincialate from 5th to 30th May 2015.

Sr.M. Rosella Henricks celebrated 50 Golden Years of commitment to the Lord on 2nd June 2015 at Stella Maris Provincialate, Uttan 

7 Sisters participated in the Certificate training programme in Evangelization from May 10 to May 16, 2015 at St. Pius College, Goregaon.

On 21st May 2015 we celebrated the feast of Mary Queen of the Apostles the patroness of our Congregation

On the 17th and 18th April 2015 a Vocation Camp was organized by Bombay Province at St. Xavier’s Convent, Nandakhal under the guidance of Sr. Berchmans, the Province Animator. 

On the 25th April 2015, 9 junior sisters of Bombay Province renewed their vows and recommitted themselves to the service of the Lord and His people. 

The Provincial Chapter of the Bombay Province took place from 11th to 14th April 2015 at Stella Maris Provincialate, Uttan. The theme of the Chapter was “Deepening of Consecrated life and Vocation”.  

13th February a joyous day for the province as the foundation stone for a convent. was laid for Queen of the Apostles Convent at Hansol, Gujarat. Rt. Rev. Bishop Thomas Macwan  performed the groundbreaking ceremony in thd presence of Sr. Berchmans Nedumpoika, Provincial Superior.

15 January 2015: A happy occassion as we celebrated the Birthday of our dear Mother General Sr. M. Nanditha Pereira.

The harvest is plentiful but the labourers are few. Vocation Sunday at deanary level in Our Lady of Sea Parish, Uttan

Sr.M. Lucia D'souza and Sr. M. Martha Manorkar committed themselves totally to the Lord on 8th December 2014 along with Sr. Meryl Thomas who celebrates God's fidelity for the last 25 years.

With great joy amd gratitude to God, 13 junior sisters renewed their commitment to the Lord on 6th December 2014.

It was a transforming experience for 128 sisters of our province who participated in the inner healing retreat organized by the province in 5 batchesbetween September 9 to November 9, 2014.
